Highland coverage from a Highland base
The Highlands are the part of Scotland most tyre collectors quietly ignore — too far, too spread out, too expensive to reach. UK Rubber has a site in Inverness, so for us it’s home ground.
We collect across the city and along the A96 corridor to Nairn, Forres and Elgin, up the A9 through Dingwall and Ross-shire, south through Aviemore and Badenoch, and down the Great Glen towards Fort William.
For the north-east coast beyond Moray, our Aberdeen site picks up the baton — between the two, the whole of northern Scotland has a genuinely local, SEPA-licensed disposal route.

Why UK Rubber
Licensed here, recycled here
UK Rubber operates Scotland’s only industrial-scale, SEPA-licensed tyre recycling plant.
Tyres we collect in Inverness aren’t passed to a middleman or shipped abroad — they’re processed within our own operation into rubber crumb, recovered steel and fibre, with nothing sent to landfill.
You get a Waste Transfer Note with every collection, keeping your duty-of-care records complete, and pricing tailored to your tyre types, volume and location — see how our pricing works.
